In September 2019, Enertech added the UPM-XL Pump to our flow center options. This pump also replaced the internal loop pump in the WV variable speed water-to-water units. Recently, it has been brought to our attention that there are some issues with connecting the WV harness to our Flow Centers that consist of the UPM-XL Pump. Beginning with unit serial number M19090400 all WV units are shipped with a 15 ft. long PWM wire harness that has a male and female Molex Connector that connects the Breakout Board to the Pump (Flow Center). The first shipments of our new WV Flow Centers (single and two pump variable speed flow centers, pressurized or non-pressurized) shipped with come with a raw/stripped 3 wire connection (see Figure 1 below) that does now allow the harness to connect to the pump. We are working with our vendor to add the Molex connector to the pump so that it matches the connector in the unit. In the meantime, there may be some modification needed. In this Technical Bulletin, we provide information on how to resolve this issue.
